INSIGHT SCORES MOST CSA WINS OF ANY TV PRODCO WITH 14

Insight Productions continued its domination of the Canadian Screen Awards with a total of 14 wins, including three best program awards for The Tragically Hip – A National Celebration; The Amazing Race Canada; and The JUNO Awards. The wins spanned the program, performance, and craft categories with The Tragically Hip tying The Amazing Race Canada for six awards apiece; and one win each for The JUNO Awards and the Greenpeace documentary How To Change The World.

“Barb and I are so immeasurably proud of what the entire Insight team accomplished in 2016,” said John Brunton, Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Insight Productions. “Beyond honouring the sheer talent and creativity here, these 14 awards and the 15 other nominations reflect just how deep the bench is at Insight.”
