World Idol

“WORLD IDOL” (Canadian Version) is a celebration of all the Idol productions from around the world. This two-part international television special put 11 of these Idol winners against each other in an unprecedented international singing competition. In the end, Kurt Nilson of Norway claimed the title of the first World Idol. Competing countries included USA, Canada, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, England, Australia, Norway, Sweden, South Africa, Pan Arabic and Belgium. The special aired on Christmas Day and New Years Day.
